Fair Grove BINGO night took place at the Lion’s Den on Thursday, May 13, 2010. Ann Jones had the distinction of being our first paying customer and ultimately, we think, a satisfied one who went home with lots of Bingo goodies (and even continued to win after she had to leave and had someone watch her cards for the remainder of the games!) Virtually EVERYONE in attendance won something and no one left empty handed!

Our “BINGO callers extraordinaire” were Gordon McAdams and Lion President Patricia Carroll. With it being our first experience and getting our bearings, they did a wonderful job of moving things along so as to not get folks home too late. Lots of other Fair Grove Lions members were on hand to help with concessions sales, checking cards of Bingo winners, and selling 50/50 and Camp Dogwood tickets.

We asked our happy, first-time customers to be sure that they spread the word about FGLC Bingo night and bring their friends and family with them for our next night of Bingo fun for the whole family on Thursday, June 10.

Bingo will be held monthly on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m., and, what’s better, it will include a monthly fundraiser for our White Cane fund.
